Christmas Eve Memories
So today is an interesting day. It is Christmas Eve and I am filled with mixed emotions. Today is an anniversary of happiness and sorrow at the same time. On this day I met someone that was very special to me and I still think about. I was at a book store and shopping last minute for my brother. As I entered the store by gaze was drawn to the cashiers and I was amazed at the beauty I saw. As I found the gift for my brother I go in line. Just my luck I was too soon or too late to get her as my cashier. So as I walked out I looked back and flashed her a smile and I received the same. Walking to my car I kicked myself for not taking a chance and asking her for her number. So I got to my car and started driving, I stopped in the middle of traffic and said “Fuck it! What do I have to loose?” So I went back in. I felt I needed more of a reason to ask her out. So I picked up a copy of the Iliad. Got in line and once again wasn’t going to get her to be my cashier. So I let the person in front of me go ahead “Tis the season” I said. I looked her in the eye and said, “I had to buy something so I would have excuse to talk to you. I was curious if you wanted to get a cup of coffee on your break” I said in the smoothes of voices. She replied with “I already had my break…” my heart drops. “But here’s my number if you want to get coffee some other time” Heart skips a beat and that is one story of Christmas Eve.
The other is a great deal more depressing. I was seeing the women for awhile and I was head over heals. Well… to save some of my own dignity, lets say she told me she was seeing someone else on this day. Not a good day.
But here is to bringing new memories with this Christmas Eve!

Good post. Don't worry about the grammar so much. Renewed Republican is no stickler either. Anyway, Merry Christmas.
